Flower induction at higher plant weight gave better plant weight (at harvesting time), total leaf weight stump and crown weight, weight and diameter of peduncle, length, diameter and weight of fruit, yield, commercial grade (fruit size) for industrial purpose. Number of conical shaped fruits was highest at over 3.5 kg. plant weight while peduncle and crown length were decreased. TSS/TA ratio was lowest at over 3.5 kg. plant weight. Cylindrical and global shaped fruits was highest at 2.5-3.5 and 1.5-2.5 kg. plant weight at induction time respectively. Flower induction of pineapple at older plant age gave higher plant weight, total leaf weight, stump weight, weight and diameter of peduncle, TSS, weigth, length, diameter and core size of fruit, while peduncle length, TA, weight and length of crown were decreased. TSS/TA ratio was highest in the plants induced at 12 months, yield and commercial grade (fruit size) for canning industry were highest in plant induced at 14 and 12 months, the number of conical, cylindrical and global shaped fruits were highest in plant induced at 14, 12 and 8 months respectively. Weight ratio of fruit weight and plant weight during flower induction was highest in plant induced at 10 months.
