System of sweet corn relay intercropped with soybean was suitable for this particular environment and showed a promisable potential of adoption. The yield of sweet corn in sweet corn-soybean system was not different to the monoculture corn. Allthough soybean yield in the relay intercropping system was lower than the monoculture soybean, however the harvest of both corn and soybean in this particular system resulted to the highest gross income and the second to the highest net income of this system when compared to other cropping pattern tested. Sweet corn relay intercropped with soybean resulted to the maximum use of rainfall due to the fact that the duration of crop growth covered the entire rainy season. In addition, this relay intercropping system increased the efficiency of land utilization than any of the monoculture system tested.
