During the 2-year investigation period (1980 and 1981) it was established that contents of nitrogen and phosphorus were higher in pears grafted on pear tree seedlings (Pyrus communis) than in pears grafted on quince MA. Data relating to the potassium content did not provide clear tendency of this element influenced by rootstock, because in 1980 it was lower and in 1981 higher on the seedling than on quince MA.
