On the basis of the results obtained, the following was concluded: 1) fertility of the Pozegaca plum variety depended on the nitrogen content in leaves; 2) the optimum quantity of nitrogen in leaves of Pozegaca was 2.68%; 3) of monoamino-monocarboxylic acids in Pozegaca pistil, leucine was present in the highest amount, followed by vaniline, alanine and glycine while other acids in this group were present in lower amounts; 4) the content of some monoamino-dicarboxylic acids was determined, as well; 5) content of some aminoacids differed between bearing and non-bearing Pozegaca.
