Mikroaerofile Arachnia propionica i beztlenowce niesporulujace w guzach promienicowych swin.

Seven cases of actinomycosis in a herd of 200 pigs was described. The disease was characterized by tumours situated in submandibular and maxillary regions. Arachnia propionica was isolated from necrotic tissues of 2 pigs. Also the presence of anaerobic bacteria, i.e. E. necrophorum, P. acnes and B. melaninogenicus were found. An alimentary route of infection was suggested.
