Efficacy of some nematicides in controlling Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid and white) chitwood on tomato plants.

Four nematicides (Nemagon at the rate of 100 l/ha, Nemaphos and Nemacur at the rate of 12 kg/ha, Hostathion at the rate of l8 l/ha) were tested against Meloidogyne incognita on tomato plants. All the nematicides significantly reduced number of galls per plant and increased green weight per plant compared with control. Nemagon at the rate of 100 l/ha was significantly better than other nematicides which were at par with each other.
