Studies on seed development of sweet corn (Zea mays Linn. Var. ruposa) "Thai super sweet composite 1 DMR" were conducted. Growth stage, 4-19 days after anthesis, the seed increased its fresh and dry weight while moisture percentage decreased. 28 days after anthesis, seed reached maximum dry weight (8.48 g/100 seeds) while moisture percentage and germination were 69.5 and 71.33 percent respectively. Fresh weight and moisture percentage of seeds decreased gradually but dry weight was nearly constant, and seed germination increased continuously up to 100 percent at 42 days after anthesis.
