The effect of the calving season, calving age, length of intercalving periods on the milk performance of 4,669 primaparae cows depending on the herd production was investigated. The effect of these factors on the fat content in milk was not significant. The results obtained prove that the effect of environmental factors on the milk performance of cows does not depend on the herd production level.
