The effect of forced reproduction of scarce clonal rootstocks for apples has been studied by taking into consideration the percentage of intake, amount of growth and thickness of seedling, and rootstocks placed under standard conditions, present in production by transplantation. The following have been used as rootstocks for grafting: M16, M11, M12 and M13. A variety of apples which has been grafted on these rootstocks is the Golden Delicious, while the rootstocks, which have undergone forced reproduction with grafting, are MM106, M26 and A2.
