A procedure which enables objectivization and unambiguous establishment of the characteristics of the dry chamber function in conditions which differ from controlled situations, has been recommended in this paper. The presented procedure can be applied in all conditions of the actual process, for various drying procedures, drying regimes, the state of the material and environment conditions.
