It is stated that the content of nitrogenous substances in the grain of barley is influenced by the agroecological conditions under which this cereal species is grown. Composition of the substances undergoes changes, too, in dependence upon the response of barley varieties to tested treatments. Experimental results have furnished enough evidence that the technology used for growing is to be adapted to the intended utilization of barley grain.
