This program is designed to assist nutrition professionals in analyzing nutrient intakes of individuals and the nutrient content of recipes and menus. It may also be useful in menu planning and in the planning of nutritional care of patients/clients. Foods are entered by manually locating them in the printed list of 750 foods, then typing the desired item exactly as listed into the computer. Completed analysis include information on 8 vitamins, 8 minerals, cholesterol, fiber, and water. Nutrient totals are compared to the RDA and percentages of total calories from fat, protein, and carbohydrate are listed.
