In this work, the results from the investigation into the rod mechanisms with Assur's group are presented. It has been found out that the computer aided designing of four-bar linkage mechanism solves the problem of contradictory demands; a designer has maximal quality and minimal time for creating new constructions. The displayed methods enable the choice of the optimal parameters for kinetic and dynamic synthesis of mechanisms. Simultaneous work conditions of mechanisms speed up the process of making the good and new solutions and at the same time they decrease the number of needed prototypes.
