Crops from the sampled broiler chickens fed with oxytetracycline-treated rations were pathologically and histopathologically examined to observe the effect of the treatment. The results showed that 26.67 pct. of the crops were thickened, and neither invasion of yeast mycelia into the mucosal layer nor inflammatory reaction in the sub-mucosal layer of the crop were seen. The only change was a mild erosion of the epithelial layer.
