Swine slurry applied to rye was inferior to commercial fertilizers. When applied to maize the best effect was obtained with direct applications. Dry matter content of maize fertilized with slurry was higher than in maize fertilized with commercial fertilizers. Nitrogen, protein, phosphorus, and potassium contents were similar regardless of fertilizer type.
