In static experiments conducted in 1988-90 there was estimated the suitability of multi-componential fertilizers in the open field production of vegetables. Their efficiency was compared with manure and supplemental doses of mineral fertilizers or only mineral fertilizers usage. White head cabbage, celeraic and red beet were cultivated on plots in the subsequent years. The results of the study proved that marketable yields of vegetables supplied with manure at the rate 50 tons per ha were slightly higher than that obtained by use of mineral fertilizers only. The highest content of N as nitrates was found in soil supplied with manure and mineral fertilizers. All tested fertilizers did not influence the pH of the soil.
