Nitrogen and phosphorus rates were applied at 0, 80, 160 and 240 kg N or P2O5/ha. Early and total fruit yield were significantly increased as nitrogen and phosphorus rates increased. The greatest total fruit yield was obtained at rates of 80 or 160 kg N/ha with 160 P2O5/ha in 1983 season, and with 80 or 160 kg P2O5/ha in 1984 season. Results indicated that increased nitrogen and phosphorus rates caused an increased fruits content of both N and P.
