The feeding of Dendrosoter protuberans with the nectar of melliferous flowers and the Parker's diet has an evident influence on parasiting on the larvae Scolytus multistriatus and on the number of descendants of one waps. The adults of Dentrosoter protuberans fed with the Parker's diet reduced the numerousness of the small bark beetle and the number of the descendants of one female was on average 18.1 in the first, 16.8 and 17.7 in the 2nd generation. Slightly lower parasiting of the larvae of the small bark beetle and lower number of descendants of one female has been caused by feeding of the waps Dendrosoter protuberans with the nectar of Stachis recta. Lower number of the population of Scolytus multistriatus and its parasite Dentrosoter protuberans from the 1st generations remains in diapause until the spring of the following year. But, for a considerable number of the beetle population and its parasite from 2nd generation the development finished during May of the following years.
