Sunnhemp, a legume crop, is a potential roughage source to livestock either in fresh form or as hay. Stage of maturity at the time of harvest has a profound effect on the chemical composition and nutritive value of forages. The present investigation was undertaken to study the effect of the stage of maturity on the nutitive value of sunnhemp and to determine the optimum stage of harvest.
