An experiment on 75 hens and 21 cockerels was carried out. Diets containing 0, 2.1 or 4.1 ppm of ochratoxin A (OA) were given. The positive correlation between diet OA level and leukocyte and lymphocyte content as well as the negative correlation between diet OA level and blood haemoglobin and cholesterol content in poultry was observed.
