Growth analysis in certain varieties of pigeonpea. Short communication.

Studies conducted with short and medium duration varieties of pigeonpea revealed that there was a marked difference in dry matter accumulation, seed yield and harvest index among varieties. The higher harvest index in medium duration resulted from both increased seed yield and total dry matter accumulation.
