[L'obiettivo di questo studio consisteva nell'indagare sul rapporto fra il contenuto di zolfo del suolo, estratto mediante estraenti diversi, e la produzione di sostanza secca e le quantita' di zolfo assorbito dalla pianta. Nella prima raccolta, lo zolfo estratto con soluzione di KH2PO4 presentava la massima correlazione con lo zolfo assorbito dalle piante, seguito da S riducibile con HI, mentre la correlazione piu' bassa si riscontrava con l'estrazione mediante KCl. Lo zolfo delle radici non presentava alcuna correlazione con il tipo di estraente. La produzione di sostanza secca era correlata con lo zolfo estratto con KH2PO4 e con S riducibile con HI. The objective of this study was to relate the content of soil sulphur, extracted by different extractants, with the dry matter yield and with the amounts of sulphur absorbed by the plant. In the first harvest, sulphur extracted by KH2PO4 solution showed the higher correlation with the sulphur taken up by plants, followed by HI reducible S, and the lower was the extracted by KCl. Root sulphur showed no correlation with any extractant. Dry matter yield correlated with sulphur extracted by KH2PO4 and with HI reducible S. In the second harvest, the only correlation was found between S extracted by KH2PO4 and S absorbed by plants.
