Chisel tools (various ploughs and a chisel) have been investigated in this paper. The obtained results show the following: the chisel tools fully justify their application in agricultural engineering while energy saving and a considerable increase of labour productivity, considering optimal measures of the agricultural engineering and operations justify the chisel tools in mass production. Within the frame of the combined technology in rational soil cultivation, application of rational tillage of heavy soils inclined to turning into swamps is necessary, the application of mole drainage eliminates the necessity to invest into drainage systems. Positive differences in favour of rational cultivation are very significant for the spring cultures.
