ITALIANO: [Le prove sono state effettuate in un pescheto plurivarietale di 2.3 ha di superficie, con piante allevate a palmetta e sesti di impianto di 4.50 x 3.50 m a Lavello (Potenza) nel gennaio 1990. Il trattamento e' costoso ma sembra essere l'unico efficace quando il numero di piante infestato e' limitato, mentre, se l'infestazione e' diffusa, sembra piu' conveniente l'espianto. La lotta integrata, che esclude l'eccessivo uso di pesticidi, permette un maggior equilibrio tra i fitofagi (cocciniglia bianca) e entomafagi (Encarsia berlesei), ricreando un piu' stabile agroecosistema per la coltivazione e permettendo una piu' semplice gestione dei problemi fitosanitari].

[The trials were carried out in a multivarietal peach orchard of 2.3 ha surface, with fan training grown plants and 4.50 x 3.50 m planting distances in Lavello (Potenza) in 1990. The treatment is expensive but seems to be the most effective when a limited number of plants is infested. When the infestation is widespread, the explant seems more convenient. The integrated fight, excluding the excessive use of pesticides, enables a better balance between phytophagouses (white scale) and entomophagouses (Encarsia berlesei) re-creating a more stable agroecosystem for the cultivation and allowing a simpler management of phytosanitary problems].
