BAHASA: Penarikan contoh untuk pengukuran yang cermat berat kering biomas, panjang akar dan jumlah akar dalam runtun waktu berurutan pada pembibitan setek teh menghadapi masalah, karena pengukuran individu yang berbeda menimbulkan kesalahan sistematik. Penarikan contoh acak sederhana dapat menimbulkan kesalahan sistematik dan sukar pelaksanaannya karena rapatnya jarak penanaman teh. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini telah dilakukan pengkajian penelitian penarikan contoh dengan membandingkan empat metode penarikan contoh, yaitu (A) Penarikan contoh acak sederhana individu, (B) Penarikan contoh acak sistematik, (C) Penarikan contoh acak sederhana kelompok, dan (D) Penarikan contoh acak kelompok terurut. Terbukti bahwa metode D (Penarikan contoh acak kelompok terurut) yang terbaik. Dengan menerapkan metode D dalam pengukuran berat kering biomas dan tinggi tanaman ternyata model polinomial multiplikatif jauh lebih baik daripada model regresi linier sebagai model fungsi pertumbuhan tanaman teh.

Sampling for accurate measurements of biomass dry weight, root length and roots number in successive of time in tea cutting nursery will face problem caused by different individual which affect systematic error. Simple randomized sampling might affect such systematic error and difficult to apply caused by closer tea planting distance. To overcome the problem, a sampling research study had been done by comparing four sampling methods, i.e (A) individual simple randomized sampling, (B) Systematic randomized sampling, (C) Simple randomized block sampling and (D) Successive randomized block sampling. It had been proved that D method (Successive randomized block sampling) was the best. Application of D method in measurements of biomass dry weight and plant height proved that multiplicative polynomial model was far better than linear regression model as a tea growth function model.
