ITALIANO: Questa ricerca sulle tecnologie colturali, sulle avversita' parassitarie e sulla difesa delle coltivazioni di aglio piacentino e' finalizzata a far conoscere le problematiche che possono insorgere durante la coltivazione della nostra Liliacea. Inoltre vengono evidenziati i principali parassiti e fisiopatie che si possono insediare nelle colture durante il loro ciclo biologico (erbe infestanti, artropodi, miceti, batteri, virus). Questa ultima parte e' stata particolarmente approfondita sia attraverso alcuni convegni che in numerose pubblicazioni di un certo livello. Le soluzioni scaturite hanno evidenziato che in tale coltura le difese agronomiche possono risolvere, in molte situazioni, i principali problemi fitosanitari. Solo per le erbe infestanti e' sempre richiesto l'impiego di principi attivi idonei, considerata la concorrenza delle infestanti verso le colture dell'aglio.

The present research work on crop technologies, pest adversities and protection of garlic crops in the Piacenza area has the purpose of illustrating to qualified people the problems that may arise while cultivating this plant. Furthermore, focus has been made on the major pests and physiopathies which may affect a crop during its biological cycle (infestant herbs, arthropods, mycetes, bacteria and viruses). Special attention has been given to these topics, both through specific conventions and through various scientific publications. The results of this research have pointed out that in such crops agronomic protections may often solve the major phytosanitarian problems. The use of suitable active principles is always required only for infestant herbs, given the competition between infestants and garlic crops.
