The development programme of the cattle breeding in S.R. Croatia (S.F.R. Yugoslavia) by the end of this century gives, in the first place, the review of the former movements and achieved development level and then the development programme based on the needs of domestic consumption and export of the cattle products (including, for instance, the cattle skin) taking into account the limiting factors of production stimulation in the private sector to the limited possibilities of disposal of goods and export to the convertible market and measures of the economic policy, as well as the programmes of scientific research work and expert staff in the cattle breeding.
