Otsenka gibridov vinograda P. Sukatnieka v Latvii.

Ten hybrids of grape originated by P. Sukatnieks were studied for 4 years. 4 best hybrids were selected: "Zilga", "Supaga", "Sukribe", "Veldze". "Zilga" is frost-resistant and may survive -40 degrees C without a cover. All hybrids ripen in the first decade of September. "Supaga" is the second; it has big berries, good taste and more total sugar and total acid content as the other hybrids. Except for "Zilga", these hybrids suffer from the deficiency of positive temperature during flowering which causes insufficient pollination and low yield. These hybrids are relatively well adopted and are recommended for cultivation in Latvia.
