Results indicate a gradual increase in electrolyte leakage as the germination decreases. Statistical analysis showed significant negative relationship (r=-0.97 P<0.001) between seed germination and electrical conductivity. The present study shows that germination of Sal seeds can be safely predicted on the basis of electrical conductivity.
