Drechslera sorokiniana and Drechslera tritici-repentis appeared as the casual organisms of the leaf blight. Of the 85 wheat cultivars/lines tested under natural conditions of infection at the Bangladesh Agricultural University farm, 10 appeared to be resistant, 14 moderately resistant, 15 moderately susceptible, 20 susceptible and 26 highly susceptible.
