In the first part of the influence of various calculation methods on the net final production of a farm has been evaluated. The turnover - balance method reduces the final production by approx. 15 percent i.e. 6 corn units per 1 ha of arable lands, as compared to the method based on the "total productivity". In the second part of the paper the difference between the total plant productivity and the net final production of the plant calculated according to the turnover- balance method. In various years the total production is higher by 1.1-9.6 corn units per 1 ha of arable lands. The difference is caused mainly by storage losses, losses during treatment and feeding, improper balance of the internal turnover and deficiency of the corn unit itself. The studies have been carried out in the Magnice pilot plant on 525 ha of arable lands. The observations have been recorded within the period from 1972/73 to 1984/85.
