In the paper main results of breeding work conducted in 1978 on of over 30000 various winter soft wheat hybrid forms, specimens and varieties under conditions of dryland in Zakatal'skaya Grain Experiment Station. A number of deserving varieties were found out surmounting the standard by 2,0-6,8 c/ha in yield. By the results of State strain testing the variety Perzivan 1 bas been regionally adapted in the 9 zone of Azerbaijan since 1990.
