The high press of beet pulps enables to obtain the following benefits: an increase of thermal energy saving during the process of beet pulp drying; a decrease of fresh water consumption, higher purity of beet pulp water with keeping the same losses of sucrose in beet pulp; a decrease of sucrose losses in molasse. However, when beet pulp is pressed to high content of dry matter, one must be prepared for higher amount of the fines in beet pulp water.
