Calculo del coeficiente de ajuste por restriccion de humedad y deficit hidrico como funcion de la tension de humedad y de la textura del suelo.

English. Crop coefficients have been frequently used for researchers and irrigation district planners to estimate evapotranspiration and water requirement for crops. Actual evapotranspiration (ET) is estimated by the equation: ET Kc Ks ETr; where Kc = ETx/ETr and Ks = ET/ETx (ETr and ETx are the reference and maximum evapotranspiration, respectively), which characterize the soil-plant-climatic-system capacity. This research was carried out at the experimental station of the Centro Nacional de Investigacion Disciplinaria en Relacion Agua-Suelo-Planta-Atmosfera in Gomez Palacio, Durango. This study evaluated the relationships between the coefficient of limited soil water (Ks) and the soil water stress, in three different soil textures. Daily data of maximum evapotranspiration of corn were measured in a weighing lysimeter, whereas actual evapotranspiration was measured in nine volumetric lysimeters (three different soil textures with repetitions) where 3 different soil water stresses were simulated. The objetive of this study was to determine and simulate the coefficient of limited soil water based on different levels of soil water stress and for different soil textures. Results showed that an inverse potential model is adecuate to explain the relationship between the coefficient of limited soil water and soil water stress.

Los coeficientes de desarrollo se han utilizado ampliamente por investigadores y operadores de Distritos de Riego para estimar la evapotranspiracion y, posteriormente, los requerimientos de riego para los cultivos. La evapotranspiracion real (ET) se estima mediante la ecuacion: ET = Kc Ks ETr; donde: Kc = ETx/ETr y Ks = ET/ETx (ETx y ETr son la evapotranspiracion maxima y la de referencia, respectivamente) la cual caracteriza la capacidad del sistema suelo-planta-clima. El presente trabajo se realizo en el Campo Experimental del CENID-RASPA-INIFAP, ubicado en Gomez Palacio, Dgo., Mexico, y consistio en el estudio de la relacion entre el coeficiente de ajuste por restriccion de humedad del suelo (Ks) y el deficit hidrico, en 3 tipos de texturas. Se analizaron los datos diarios de ETx de maiz, medida en un lisimetro de pesada, y la informacion de ET, obtenida en 9 lisimetros volumetricos, los cuales contenian 3 suelos con diferente tipo de textura; se simularon 3 niveles de humedad en los lisimetros volumetricos. El objetivo central de este trabajo fue el de determinar y simular el Ks para diferentes niveles de tension de humedad y para diferentes texturas. Los resultados indican que una funcion de potencia inversa es adecuada para explicar la relacion entre Ks y la tension de humedad en el suelo, ya que explica en forma dinamica las variaciones de la evapotranspiracion con diferentes regimenes hidricos. Asimismo, se encontro un ajuste aceptable entre el indice de area foliar y la capacidad de retener agua de los 3 tipos de suelo estudiados.
