The appearance of soil compaction, its causes and consequences, caused by movements of agricultural machinery was discussed in introduction part of thesis. Then, it was given the review of literature data. The main part of thesis includes the analysis of the effect of walking systems, applied combinations of machines at harvesting and transportation of crops. The method and technique of investigation of the soil compaction were presented. Then the measurements of parameters were performed such as: contact areas, treated areas, conditional specific pressure and intensity of compaction of soil. The results obtained present a real basis for classification of the combinations of machines on the basis of analysis of parameters mentioned. At the end the possibilities were given of finding of real solutions for decreasing of soil compaction at harvesting and transportation of crops.
