The penetration of nutrient substances through the cuticle (leaf's tegument) is a passive process of diffusion, without energy consumption. Using the isotopic method with N power 15, it has been found that the most accessible and mobile form of nitrogen in plant is the ammonium nitrogen. The first data obtained seem to confirm the possibilities created by both hypotheses to study and determine the penetration of mobile nutrient elements from the foliar nutrient's solutions in plants: - local application on certain leaves of the diluted solution of ICF and determination of the nutrient elements in dried substance of the untreated leaves and organs; - application of ICF solutions on the aerial vegetative parts and determination of the elements excreted through roots in the solution of CaCl2 0.0075 M. the increase of the content of nutrient elements in the untreated organs with ICF is more substantial and easier to be analytically emphasized in plants grown on substrata that are trophically scarce.
