Il tessuto non-tessuto svolge una azione antiozonante? [metodi di prova, tabacco].

ITALIANO: Sono state condotte prove in camera di fumigazione finalizzate a valutare l'eventuale azione abbattente dell'ozono di una serie di tessuti non tessuto commerciali, comunemente usati in orticoltura. Modeste riduzioni delle concentrazioni di ossidante (sino al 10%) sono state riscontrate e l'effetto e' risultato in parte dipendente dai livelli di ozono. Prove in vivo hanno evidenziato come la presenza del tessuto non tessuto intorno alle piante sia in alcuni casi associata a significative riduzioni dell'intensita' del danno fogliare indotto dall'ozono sul tabacco supersensibile Bel-W3. L'effetto protettivo, comunque, non e' costante e risulta in una certa misura correlabile con la quantita' di ozono presente nell'aria. L'argomento merita di essere ulteriormente indagato, in relazione alla crescente importanza dell'ozono troposferico come agente fitotossico.
Show more [+] Less [-]English. Tests have been carried out in fumigation chamber in order to evaluate the antiozonant activity of some commercial nonwoven fabrics used in horticolture. Small reductions of the oxidant levels (up to 10%) due to the filtering action of the materials have been detected, the effect resulting partially dependent on ozone levels. In vivo trials put in evidence that in several cases the presence of the nonwoven fabric around the plants is associated to significant reductions of foliar injury intensity induced by ozone on the supersensitive tobacco cv. Bel-W3. This protective effect is not constant and is somewhat related to the quantiy of ozone present in the atmosphere. Further investigations are necessary to better understanding the interactions observed.
