The individual sector in Yugoslav agriculture is characterized by numerous socio-economic features significant for the development of agricultural production. From the total number of local communities more than 66% belong to rural ones. Under the condition that these data were corrected for the mixed rural communities, 83% of local communities would be in question as the forms and contents of the self-managing communities of the rural type organizations having special characteristics of the incomes, set aside funds and individual consumption. Numerous and significant information are obtained by analysing the data of agricultural households that is, about the height and sources of their earnings, the structure of the expenses, level of the equipment, individual consumption, etc. which all have great significance for the estimation of their reproduction.
