The investigation was conducted on 16,680 chickens of heavy line hybrid, Arbor Acres were divided in 2 groups in order to determine the effect of the formulation of concentrate mixtures on fattening and slaughter characteristics of broilers. The heavy line hybrid, Arbor Acres in the fattening of broilers showed satisfactory production results. The formulation of concentrate mixtures had a significant effect on the fattening results, on the fattening duration and on slaughter values. That was because the broilers fed with pellet mixture gave better production results for a shorter fattening period than the broilers fed with powder mixtures during all the fattening period.
