The investigations were carried out within the framework of a permanent fertilizing experiment established in 1955 on soil of the black earth type with the granulometric composition of loamy sand passing into light loam. There were determined (1986-88) the influence of long-term fertilization, both mineral, farmyard manure and combined mineral-manure on chemical composition of soil - the content of organic carbon, total nitrogen, available phosphorus, potassium and magnesium, pH and hydrolytic acidity. The investigation results obtained prove that on this type soil differences in the chemical properties of soil have not been proved statistically.
