The weight of raw cocoon and of crysalides is higher by 13,2 percent, respectively by 12,7 percent, in the conditions of a feeding norm of 42 kg leaf/g eggs as compared to the norm of 18 kg leaf/g eggs. The number of eggs per laying increases proportionally with the amount of leaves, being 16 percent higher for the first feeding norm. The consumption index shows that highest efficiency of the feed was reached by the norm of 24 kg leaf/g eggs.
