ITALIANO: Prove effettuate in vitro ed in serra hanno evidenziato l'attivita' antagonista di Trichoderma spp. nei confronti di Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. asparagi. L'inoculazione del terreno con Trichoderma spp. effettuata alla semina dell'ospite o anticipata di 4 mesi rispetto ad essa ha portato a riduzione dell'incidenza di malattia statisticamente non diverse tra loro. Determinazioni delle densita' di inoculo nel terreno hanno dimostrato una buona capacita' di sopravvivenza di Trichoderma spp. e che esso e' stato in grado di ridurre significativamente l'inoculo di Fusarium oxysporum solo durante il periodo di assenza dell'ospite.

Laboratory and greenhouse trials showed antagonist activity of Trichoderma against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. asparagi. No significative differences in reducing disease incidence occurred with soil inoculation with antagonist both 4 month before or simultaneously to asparagus sowing. Inoculum density of both antagonist and Fusarium oxysporum in soil was determined. Trichoderma spp. showed good ability in surviving and, only in the absence of the host, in reducing F. oxysporum inoculum.
