Pengaruh pemupukan P dan K pada kedelai di lahan tadah hujan Wonogiri: pertimbangan teknik dan ekonomik.

A greenhouse study using soil from Sumberhardjo Village Kecamatan Eromoko, Kabupaten Wonogiri was conducted to identify macro nutrient deficiencies in that soil. The experiment consisted of 6 treatments :1) control, 2) complete (P, K, Ca and Mg), 3) complete -P, 4) complete -K, 5) complete -Ca, and 6) complete -Mg. Dosage of all nutrients was 100 ppm. Result of this study indicated that P and K nutrients were deficient in the soil. Following greenhouse experiment field experiments were conducted in 2 locations (Sumberhardjo and Eromoko villages) in 1988/89 wet season. The P experiment of 5 levels of P fertilizer (0, 23, 46, 92 and 138 kg P2O5/ha) and the K experiment consisted of 5 levels of K fertilizer (0, 30, 60, 120 and 180 kg K2O/ha). Randomized Complete Block Design with 4 replications was used for each experiment. Wilis variety was used with plant spacing of 50 cm x 10 cm, 2 plants/hill. Results of the experiment showed that P fertilizer did not significantly affect soybean growth, yield and yield component except P content in the plant. On the other hand, K fertilizer increased plant height, top plant dry weight, K content in the plant, number of filled pod/plant and grain yield. Number of seed/pod and seed weight were not affected by K fertilizer. A benefit cost analysis showed that the highest rate of K fertilizer (180 kg K2O/ha) gave the highest incremental net return (Rp.115.500.-/ha).
