English. The planning of organization structures is a complex issue which is difficult to support with appropriate planning models. The paper discusses the suitability of Petri-Nets simulation models for which powerful PC-based development and animation tools have become available. The development and use of Petri-Net models are being demonstrated for the optimization of extension activities in agricultural group extension organizations called "Arbeitskreise". The discussion does also focus on the potential of Petri-Net models in supporting system implementation and system control.
Show more [+] Less [-]DEUTSCH: Am Beispiel der Arbeitskreise, wie sie in der landwirtschaftlichen Beratung organisiert werden, wird das Problem der Planung optimaler, organisatorischer Systeme behandelt. Fuer die Organisationsgestaltung wird ein aus der Informatik stammendes Werkzeug, die Petri-Netze eingesetzt. Anhand der Modellierung und Simulation der Arbeitskreisorganisation werden die Potentiale aufgezeigt. Es wird die Optimierung der organisatorischen Ablaeufe, des Personal- und Betriebsmitteleinsatzes demonstriert sowie Schwellenwerte fuer die rentable und effiziente Verwendung verschiedener Technologien abgeleitet. Neben der Organisationsplanung eroeffnen Petri-Netze auch neue Perspektiven in bezug auf die Unterstuetzung der Umsetzung eines Organisationsplans und das Controlling des bereits implementierten Systems.
