This study uses the results of the relationship between heart girth and cattle weight to estimate the cattle weight in place of the weight bridge. The data of 3,290 records of Thai Native cattle and Brahman crossbred in wet and dry season were analysed. At the same time, the coefficient of regression between various factors; size, sex and season, were analysed and compared in order to use the best result for correct estimation of the cattle weight. The results show that the correlation between the heart girth and the weight ranges between 0.5508 to 0.9805 and that the comparison between those coefficients of regression is highly significant differnt (P = 0.1) between size of animals and seasons. The difference of coefficient of regression between sexes is highly significant in the mature cattle.
