Effect of different kinds of food on susceptibility of some stored products insects to Bacillus thuringiensis.
1992
Salama H.S. | Abdel Razek A.
The kind of food (semi-artificial diet, whole corn, crushed corn) on which the stored products insects Plodia interpunctella and Sitotroga cerealella feed, greatly affects its susceptibility to the delta-endotoxin and beta-exotoxin of Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki HD-1(Dipel-2X). The (LC((50))) value, slope of mortality, 95% confidence limit and variance were determined in each case. The effects on moth emergence and malformation were also detected.
