The delay in sowing date resulted in the decrease of dry matter, number of shoots and leaves per plant. Increasing plant density resulted in the increase of dry matter of plants per unit area, and the decrease in the number of shoots and green leaves per plant. The yield was not related to the plant density, but was connected with the sowing date and variety.
