[Pruning of olive tree in Lebanon]. [Arabic]

Pruning is used to cut some branches of the olive tree in view to give a better production and to ameliorate the quality of the fruits. This method gives also longer life for the tree. Olive trees are permanent green trees for that the pruning differs from other seasonal trees. The pruning of olive tree is based upon physiological and biological characteristics of this type of trees.
