List of Djerma names for botanical and ethnobotanical work in South Niger.

The present article lists 115 plant species which were collected during an ethnobotanical survey of DOsso area, Niger. On top of the Djerma names already known from literature, 25 names are added, whereby the Latin name of 13 species is for the first time linked to a Djerma name. The necessity of knowing about local names is discussed.
