Propagacion vegetativa en quillay (Quillaja saponaria Mol.).
1990
Mera I Eduardo Javier
Through a factorial design of subdivided parcels, it was studied the effect of propagation the season-environment factor, substrate and growth regulators substances, in the percentage of survival and rooting of cuttings of quillay (Quillaja saponaria Mol.), and, the morphological variables such as dry weight, length and the number of roots per plant. The results show that after 4 months of cutting implantation, highly significant effects are presented in the season-environment propagation factor over all measured variables, significative effects of the growth regulators factor on the survival percentage and highly significative on the percentage of rooting and morphological variables. The interaction season-environment of propagation and substrate show highly significative effects in all variables. In the morphological attributes highly significative interactions in all the studied effects are produced. Explorative experiences in three types of intraspecific grafting (cleft, closeness and bud) during spring and wintertime do not show positive answers in the survival grafting.
